Original version premiered at Lincoln Center Festival, 2005 Map originally premiered in proscenium format at the New York State Theater for the Lincoln Center festival in 2005. For this Judson Church update, Shen Wei put the audience in the round and replaced the original painted backdrop with a series of balloons with images of his choreographic sketches.
